Nanobots used for treatments

From treating diseases like cancer and Alzheimer’s the use of nanobots could be endless and there are no known side effects like those that a patient often gets from being treated with chemotherapy.

But obviously there are going to be concerns regarding the use of such technology, as it can not yet be what the long term side affects are going to be.

It is not likely that anything that resembles a reliable treatment using nanobots will become available before 2015, and even then there is going to be a series of short and long term tests, so it will be years later before there is a viable treatment for these terrible diseases.
