Where the germs are

The very thought of germs for some people is enough to make them feel ill, but what should be considered is that we as in humans are actually covered in germs anyhow. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that everyday things that we come in contact with are also covered in germs.

It should be pointed out at this point that the majority of germs that we come in contact with are completely harmless, according to Dr. Aaron Glatt, president and CEO of New Island Hospital in Bethpage, N.Y only around 1.5 per cent are dangerous.

However, you may be surprised as to where the germs are, in fact in the list below are the everyday items and surfaces, which are havens for germs.

Remote Control
Laundry Machines
Cutting Board
Your Phone
