Life gene found

Researchers of the Hawaii Lifespan Study at the Kuakini Medical Centre, Honolulu, Hawaii have found that men, who have two copies of a gene that is associated with long life, stand an excellent chance of living well over a hundred years old.

It all boils down to having two letters, but these two letters are quite small when you compare them to the size of the human genetic code, there are six billion letters in the genetic codes of humans.

This gene has been named FOXO3A; it has been credited to being able to prolong life and better health.

The human gene is made up of the following letters, A T C G; the majority of people have the letter T in the key point of gene, whereas those people with the letter G are the ones with the potential to live longer and healthier.
