All Americans overweight in forty years

In research funded by the US Government, it has been announced that all Americans will be overweight in forty years.

That may seem a long way off, but that sort of time can quickly come around and the problem is that once it reaches that point then there is a long way back for everyone.

The research should be considered as a wakeup call for all people, we have seen some efforts by local governments in the US to try to prevent the growth of fast food places, in an attempt to get some healthier options put in place.

However, people are creatures of habit, and popping out for lunch these days will often mean a quick sandwich or meal from one of the fast food places that dominate the city centres. While this trend continues as it has done for the last thirty years, then there will be severe health problems ahead.
