Magic mushrooms have long term benefits

There are many different opinions surrounding the use of the psychedelic drug Psilocybin which if the active ingredient of magic mushrooms. These can only be related to the sixties and the rise in the psychedelic movement which influenced art, music and the general way of the world.

But in tests being carried out in the US, thirty six guinea pig patients were given the drug, and apart from the amazing initial effects which are associated with the magic mushroom effect, these patients were reporting that these effects of feeling fine carried on for while after the drug was administered.

This has prompted the researchers to look at Psilocybin as a treatment for cancer patients and anyone else who is suffering from anxieties. With one dose lasting for a long time, there is little chance of it becoming addictive, making it a safe treatment.
