3D Mammogram in use

Getting the jump on cancer is essential to winning the fight against it in the long term, so in some cases the only way to be ahead of this disease is to have technology on your side. This is where the 3D mammogram comes into its own.

Being tested by scientist’s ay the Mayo Clinic in the US the 3D mammogram is able to give medical staff a clear picture of what is happening inside the tissue which is so difficult to tell if there are any problems because of the make up of the tissue in the first place.

From health service point of view there are certain benefits there as well, as by using this technique rather than other procedures will save the hospitals a lot of money as it will work out much cheaper.
