Cure for skin cancer found

For the very first time scientists are able to say that they have been able to cure cancer, this remarkable claim comes as a patients own cells have been used to create cloned cells outside the body and then reintroduced.

The patient was a 52 year old male from the US, and scientists from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Centre in Seattle are the team which used a cell from the immune system called CD4+ T to create cancer fighting cells. They actually made around five billion of these cells before putting them back into the patient’s body.

With two months the skin tumours had gone, this was two years ago proving that the treatment has real possibilities.
