Tea can cut the risk of heart attacks

Drinks like tea have not really been getting great publicity mainly because of the caffeine content, but in a study by the British Nutrition Foundation it has been found that tea could actually cut down the risks of a heart attack.

Its not just that, tea can also help with the general health matters like, increasing alertness, boosts hydration, strengthen bones and even improve your mood.

It is all down to the natural antioxidants found in tea, these known as polyphenols and they do have a positive effect on the biochemistry which occurs within the body.

It is clear that tea can have a beneficial effect, but the amount needed is not so clear. It can only be estimated at between three and eight cups of tea per day, which is quite a lot of tea!
