No cancer link for marijuana
In study that has been ongoing for nearly thirty years into the effects of smoking marijuana has almost reached its conclusion and one of the outcomes from it is expected to be that smoking marijuana whether just socially or heavily will not cause cancer.
The research that has been carried out through the University of California in Los Angeles have taken a very long time and used over 1,200 test subjects over the period of the research which has to be one of the most extensive studies in marijuana ever undertaken.
Although the tar found in the smoke from the marijuana is very similar if not stronger than that is found in the smoke from cigarettes, but for some reason the effect of the smoke from marijuana is not as strong or lethal. Whereas, the smoke from cigarettes is up to twenty times more likely to cause cancer.
