A good excuse for not donating blood

Giving blood is great thing, it saves lives and there no getting away with that. But despite all of the good intentions some people are unable to give blood. So if you are one of those people who is being pressured into donating, but would really like a great excuse for not giving a pint, here is a list of excuses:

Positive for the AIDS or hepatitis
Ear, tongue, or other body part piercing
Being imprisoned
Military and serving in Iraq or Afghanistan
Being deferred from travel to the UK and Western Europe due to concerns about Mad Cow Disease
Physically small people are not acceptable
Someone with the flu
A minimum age limit exists
Pregnancy and recent childbirth
Having high or low cholesterol
Potential blood donors
Almost all cancers (such as breast, brain, prostate, and lung)
Blood cancers (such as leukaemia or lymphoma)
If a potential donor has had malaria
A person cannot donate blood while they are on antibiotics

It seems there are a lot of excuses for merely getting out of giving blood.
