Cancer can thrive on stress

As if having the worries that come along with virtually everyone’s daily life are not bad enough it now turns out that according to researchers at the Fox Chase Cancer Centre in Philadelphia that leading stressful life could make it harder to fight against the virus which causes the vast amount of cervical cancer cases.

“Women who report feeling more stressed could be at greater risk of developing cervical cancer because their immune system can’t fight off one of the most common viruses that cause it”
Dr Carolyn Fang - Fox Chase Cancer Centre.

This not very good news, because there are many women who can fight this virus and remain safe from cancer, but as stress could be a key factor in those women who develop cancer, then is this not going to be stressful enough?
